For anyone that happened to watch my Stream a couple years ago- Great News– ‘Mimiron’s Head’ finally dropped for me. Ah-ha! Thank you, thank you. For those of you who don’t know what the hell I am talking about, well, you missed out on my stream!

Just kidding. I’ll try to explain. A couple years back, I Streamed a little game called ‘World of Warcraft’ over the internet- like ya’do. Mostly it was just me hanging out, talking about a whole lot of nothing (like I’do), but one of the things I did the most over the stream’s lifetime, was run one raid in particular. A raid called Ulduar, and I ran it over and over again. ‘Why?’ You may ask. Well there is a rare drop on the final boss of that particular raid called ‘Mimiron’s Head’. This is actually a mount that you can obtain from the final boss’ loot table, once you down it. The mount has a very slim chance to drop- I wanted to say like 2% chance to drop, but I just tried to look it up real-quick and they are saying it is only 1% chance to drop. Anyway, it’s pretty rare.

Now, the thing with these mounts is that once you get them it’s like, ‘meh, that was easy’, because it is all luck. So, sometimes it’s just a quick drop and you forget about it, but other times it’s this drawn out trial of patience and fortitude.

And I got to say I have more than a few: Rivendare’s Deathcharger, Ashes of Alar, Invincible, just to name a few…

This one though, this mount would not drop for me. I tried again and again, for month long stretches, once a week, this quick fifteen-minute run, all to try and get this mount for my collection. I want to say I have been trying for this one mount, off and on, –more off than on, probably, but still– for the at least three years. At least!

So anyway! This is the Great News! It finally dropped for me!

‘But David,’ you might ask, ‘what does this have to do with this week’s post? We were expecting a whole ‘nother comic page.’

Nothing. I just Streamed my attempts so many times, that I felt like maybe I should take a moment to tell people that I finally won it.

So, I did.

Better luck next week!
