So, I’m pretty sure this is the first full week I have taken off from the site in the past two years. (Actually, I hit two years May 26!) Anyway I sat down with a couple ideas for this week’s piece, but I wound-up rereading the entire ‘aWLoN!’ project from page one! At about 5:30 in the morning I decided it was just too late to make this week’s piece, mainly ‘cause I don’t want to sit in this computer chair for another minute!
I decided to make ‘aWLoN!’ that I have thus far-‘part 1’, since it is getting so big. The thought being, maybe try to break it up a bit, so it is not just one big pile. I may even start to rearrange some of it, since a lot of it was written out of order, though I chalk that up to ‘publishing rough-drafts’. No promises on the rearranging though. I’m not 100% sure how easy it will be to rearrange, as different ideas may be introduced in different places which may force rewrites just to ensure it still makes sense. Rewrites I don’t want to start yet!
I named Part 1 ‘Nightfall’, seemed fitting considering how it ends. I think originally I planned to call it ‘Black Noon’, but I think I’d like to reserve that, for like, the whole thing, depending what I do with this. Anyway next week will begin ‘Part 2’! It’ll still probably be ‘page 74’, because it is just a new ‘part’ not a new book (Way too many unanswered question to call it the end of the book!).
I’ll probably go through and update the news page at some point this week. It has occurred to me that the old dates on the news page may make the whole site seem abandoned to newcomers, mainly because I have been using the ‘Zombie Hogwash!’ blog as a news page. That is what I get for not changing the news page into a blog! lmao
That’s enough for now, I need to get up and walk around.
