Time for some hogwash- It has been quite a while since I even tried to update you guys on my life.

I am pretty sure, the last time I wrote here, at least in detail- I was talking about my new job that I got. You know, cuz you got to make money from something, apparently. A lot of it was kind of a ploy to get some cash to justifiably throw at running some ads for this site. All of which went great, I successfully increased our number a bit.

Anyway! My experience at this ‘company’, (for we shall avoid naming names) took a rough turn when the guy next to me started shirking his duties. I mean, everyone was loading two trucks from one end of the building to the other. Everybody except me, and this guy; I was loading three, he was loading one. I’m not really one to complain, and I tend to just put my shoulder down and work. But, as this continued, everyday, when I got done loading my three trucks, rather than complaining, I went home and checked the want ads. Now, as this continued, week after week, it was only a matter of time ‘til I found another job.

I put in my two weeks, and jumped ship!

I started to do the same job at a different company. It was interesting, and honestly, I considered it kind of research for some of my writing. One company was ‘corporate’, and the other was ‘union’. Now as interesting as I thought this was going to be, ultimately, it just came down to the people around me; So, pretty much the same as everything else in life. But you know, what are the differences? One was a shithole, which would be the union gig, was of course threatening to be on the brink of failure, which is pretty much the only card management has. And the other, well, was a high tech facility that simply did not have money for much benefits or top notch healthcare. (Boy, lemme tell you, I need dental right away.)

Anyway, ultimately the Union gig was not my bag. It just wasn’t a part time job for these people; I don’t know that I can truly explain my side on this, but there was a moment, where I looked at myself doing this job, looked at the people around me, and decided whether or not I could see myself doing this for years at a time—and honestly, I could not see myself doing this job for another second. I found I was trapped in this corner, in this outhouse of a building, in the middle of this perfect lull in the workload– before I knew it, I had jumped the conveyor, tossed this silly black crayon at the jackass coworker that was across from me, and said, ‘Have a crayon,’ as I strode the fuck out of the building.

Oh yeah, so that was the end of that. I quit the first company the right way, so I can always go back. I am checking for other places, but if I don’t find something before the busy season, I’ll just return there. I’d rather check my options, because I don’t think anything will have changed in my wake. Plus, other stuff that I deleted because it’s hard to explain and just rambled uninterestingly.

So, for now, I spend more time on the site, more time playing games, more time on the exercise bike to get my heart racing and uh, I started Streaming recently.

I stream, lately, pretty early in the morning. You may have seen some of my videos on my ‘Rowdy Dead Productions’ Facebook fan page, but those are just bits and pieces. You can watch me stream games at my Twitch channel here, https://www.twitch.tv/rowdydd.

Unfortunately I can’t give you a set time for when I’ll be streaming, just check in from time to time, you’ll catch me. We can hang out.

Also, if you’re interested in helping to keep this site alive, I started a ‘Patreon page’—just click the orange link, up and to the right, that reads ‘Become a Patron’ (or click here) and read what that is, and why that may be interesting to you, also pickup on the vague hints on how to help my site without Patreon. wink wink

Okay, that’s enough of that.
