Zombie Hogwash! 37

Distractions, distractions… they are freaking great until it’s a post day! Like, for example, today. I got nothing. This might be confusing, considering I’ve been posting ‘a Whole Lot of Nothing!’ every week that I could for the past ten years! Zing! The plans are there but they got pushed back and back… so I’m going to say it again, like I said it a hundred times since the start of Rowdy Dead Productions: “Better luck next week!”

It’s a variety site, so as I see it, every once in a while, getting nothing– is part of the jumble.

It’s kind of funny– I was thinking about writing a blog post like I used to, but then I realized how much stuff I have actually skipped over the past year or so and was like yikes, “how do I even lead into such a thing?” I mean, I took a whole year off! And did not tell anyone. I posted on Halloween, and then waited all the way to the next Halloween- a year later- to post again. Now, I could just say the idea made me chuckle, which is true, and is why I used Halloween to do it. But uhg! It was so NOT why I took a year off. It was a horrible, horrible year.

I am finally through it.

I did my Halloween-thing like it was just a joke, but man, that year sucked. I am glad it is behind me.

What else have I not addressed? Probably more than I want to write here. Like I mentioned we totally hit the ten-year mark. I decided just to let it go by in silence, maybe because of the year off, maybe not. Whatever.

Should I talk about– say, any of my comics that dropped off? Not without making promises I might not keep. We’ll keep struggling through. Maybe someday someone will ask about’em, mention’em, pretend for a second that they exist.

Rowdy Dead isn’t dead. We keep digging up gumption. Clearly, some poor sap keeps burying us with it.
